4 new high resolution IP cameras and 1 NVR introduced
Zebronics India pvt. Ltd., India’s leading supplier of IT peripherals and Audio/Video products has announced entry into surveillance market recently. Company has now more than 10 models in Analog/Digital DVR, NVR and Tribrid DVR. To expand the line up of surveillance products Zebronics has announced 4 new models of high resolution IP cameras and 1 NVR with H.265 compression.
With the advent of new high resolution cameras, the compression and encoding is now becoming a bottleneck in surveillance systems. The high resolution cameras require high bandwidth and storage space which increases the cost of surveillance systems. The H.264 compression standard take 6-10mbps bandwidth for 5MP 30fps videos. 5MP resolution at 30fps will be very high in terms of video clarity when compared older SD/HD setup. The problem is it also increases substantial cost in HDD and network bandwidth cost, which people are not willing to increase.
To combat this problem, Zebronics has introduced the H.265 compression solutions. This technology reduces the bit rate almost by 50% while maintaining the video quality. Zebronics has introduced 4 new IP cameras and 1 NVR in this series and many more are in pipeline. There are two dome IP cameras 3MP and 5MP, ZEB-IP3MD2A30M and ZEB-IP5MD24L30M. The bullet IP camera ZEB-IP3MB12L20M comes with 3MP resolution. There is also one PTZ IP camera ZEB-IP3MSD20X100M with 3MP and 100 meters IR distance. The NVR ZEB-16NH1 in H.265 range comes with 16 channels. All 16 channels support 5MP with 30fps. It also has very intuitive and user friendly user interface. The DVR uses HDMI for high resolution video output.
