ZEBRONICS UNVEILS ITS NEW BRAND IDENTITY, PLANS TO ENTER NEW VERTICALS

Revamped logo signifies Company’s forward look into new business verticals Surveillance, LED TV and Tablets

Topnotch Infotronix, India’s leading supplier of products and accessories for Computers, Consumer Electronics and Communication under the brand ‘ZEBRONICS' has unveiled its new brand identity, symbolized by the introduction of a new logo that signifies its growth and transformation, and celebrates the culture of innovation built over the company’s nearly two-decade history. Zebronics has also announced entry into new verticals Surveillance, LED TV and Tablets.

"The release of our new logo and visual brand marks a significant milestone and the beginning of a new phase for our company” said Rajesh Doshi, founder and Director of Zebronics. “Building on our tagline of ‘Always Ahead’, the new brand identity is intended to signify that we are moving forward by setting foot in new verticals while consolidating the existing footprint in peripherals and consumer electronics. As we are completing an existence of close to two decades, we enter a new era in our history, proud of how far we have come from when we were primarily known as a PC cabinets brand. We have evolved from a single product line to a multi-faceted portfolio, connecting with various types of consumers, while continuing to embody the brand value of offering best possible value and features at reasonable price. Continuing this legacy, we are excited and committed to establish our new brand and strengthen our position in different business segments."

The new logo embodies the new culture in Zebronics using a contemporary, simplified look and straight forward typography. Zebronics had already built up tremendous brand equity over the years for its iconic zebra-stripe look that would stand out in any display or packaging. That has been given a modern styling with a circular crop that incorporates the stripes as well as the letter ‘Z’. The circular representation is balanced by the clean typography of the name ‘Zebronics’ below it, and the tagline ‘Always Ahead’.

The Company has had a CAGR of around 30% through the last three years, in spite the slowing down of desktop market. Zebronics now targets a 100% growth this year. Said Rajesh Doshi, founder and Director, "We decided that a horizontal diversification of product portfolio would be our best bet for achieving the inorganic growth target we had set ourselves and to more fully utilize our resources and capabilities, as we reach our twentieth year. We looked at the many new opportunities. The surveillance equipment portfolio is the first of our major announcements that can be expected this year. We find that there is a huge vacuum at the affordable end of the market and lack of organized players who can back up with a good brand name, quality products, and full warranty support. Zebronics is already an established brand with 12,000 partners carrying our products into big cities and small towns alike. That will form the backbone of our new business unit."

It’s a transformational moment for Zebronics. Entering into verticals and sectors where Zebronics can make a difference, sticking to core philosophy of value for money backed by innovative engineering, appealing design, reliability and service support. Zebronics also has aggressive plans for the mass-market consumer electronics sector with LED TVs and tablets, announcements for which are to follow within the year.

Zebronics also plans to go more aggressive in, its range of Sound Monster multimedia speakers range. “Speakers have shown a good growth and there are lot of opportunities in this segment” said Rajesh Doshi. Zebronics had also set up an full-fledged R&D center at Chennai to develop products that are hardy, resilient and suited to the Indian conditions. Zebronics expects a good boost from speaker business because of the R&D center. Zebronics will also continue to launch new products in the IT peripherals segment at regular intervals and is fully committed to this business.
